Supplier Audits:

The performance of your suppliers reflects on your business. There is an old saying "You can not make a silk purse out of a sow's ear". Neither can you produce high quality products, or,  provide a high quality service from poor quality raw materials.

We will audit your suppliers on your behalf.

EU or Local Authority Licences:

Before a Food Production business commences it must firstly apply for a licence from the relevant authority.

If the purpose is to produce for the Irish Market, application is processed through the Local Authority Veterinarian.
If the purpose is to export to European countries, or further a-field, the application is processed by the Department of Agriculture.
The requirements are complex.
We have the experience of dealing with both of these bodies, and the Food Safety Authority.
We have successfully advised clients of the requirements, acted on behalf of clients with these bodies and successfully acquired these licences.

We would be happy to assist you .

Bio-Security.

The term "Bio-security" was a term which came into prominence around the time of the Foot and Mouth scare in 2001.
For those who have not learned, it will again rise to prominence during the next scare.

During the Foot and Mouth threat, we acted for Bord Gais, developing, implementing and monitoring their prevention measures. We worked with many bodies including Department of Agriculture, Teagasc and other expert groups in ensuring the protocols we had put in place were effective.  At that time Bord Gais were laying pipelines in Co.Wicklow and in Co. Dublin. They were also carrying out site investigations from Dublin to Galway to Mayo.

For us it was a great challenge and a great learning experience.
That learning remains with us to be used for your benefit, at your convenience.
