HACCP Course . (FETAC Certified)
The programme normally consists of 2 days training in lecture format,
followed by 8 hours one to one training spread over a number of days.
It covers the requirements of law and good practice a food business needs to
address to ensure consistent quality and compliance with legislation.
As part of the programme, each participant is required to complete case
study, consisting of a HACCP Quality System and the accompanying manual for
a typical food business
Normally participants use their own place of work as a basis for the case
study, resulting in a working HACCP System for the business.

Hygiene Course: 
|
Basic Food Hygiene Course A 3 hour programme, designed to assist a company comply with
recommendations contained in the "Guide to Food Safety Training" Level 1,
issued by the Food Safety Authority.
The programme begins with an introduction to the causes of Food Poisoning,
physical, chemical and microbiological. It then concentrates on pathogenic
bacteria, looking at conditions of growth, and the corresponding methods of
growth prevention.
The programme then moves on to the CCP's of the particular business and to
the points, not already addressed, in the FSAI guide.
Also included in this programme are points of concern raised by QA staff in
the organisation.

Foundation Hygiene for Food Handlers
(FETAC Certified) An 8 hour programme covering similar
topics to that mentioned above, but in greater detail
On completion of the programme each participant has to pass a 1hour written
test (Question and answer format ) to achieve certification.
The objective of the programme is to impart
knowledge and create an awareness of the importance of good hygiene
practices in the Food Industry
The programme can be modified to deal with specific industry types as
required.

We also provide an 8 hour course,
similar to the above and certified by Environmental Health Officers
Assocation. |
